Road Rally Report – October 2024
This has been a bummer of a year for the Road Rally program. Basically, we didn’t have any. Health and personal issues, life in general, got in the way. The good news is we are not throwing in the towel. Our hope and expectation is that we’ll come back in 2025, stronger and better. What we offer in Cincinnati Region is:
- 4-6 events each year
- No calculations are necessary; just a great drive with questions to answer from clues along the way
- A final destination where food and adult beverages are available for purchase
- Any vehicle can participate from the tiniest sports car to a van or pick-up truck
- Minimal fee to participate
- It is open to members and non-members (for a minimal upcharge)
- A set of cryptic instructions, designed to challenge you but not make you get lost
- A contact number for help if you get hopelessly lost anyway
- A pleasant drive of about 75 miles around the tri-state area lasting 3 to 4 hours
- Interesting and/or unusual sights along the drive
- A minimum of two people in the car (no limit, but…)
- Bring along another couple to participate and see which team does better
- Kid friendly. This is an activity you can do with the whole family
