DO YOU WANT TO DRIVE YOUR CAR ON A RACETRACK FOR MINIMAL COST?
Mark your calendars and schedule vacation time, if necessary. The Cincinnati Region Todd Cholmondeley ITSpec*tacular Track Day at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025. This is an opportunity to drive on a pro course with your daily driver, weekend sports car or solo prepared car (or a rental-Shhh). Planning will be underway in early 2025. This day-long event will be run in a similar format as previous years, with multiple sessions. Most sessions are untimed and for more experienced drivers, we will potentially have a timed competition as well. If you are a novice driver or are unfamiliar with the course, you will be provided with a coach. Direct your comments to trackevents@cincyscca.com or roadrace@cincyscca.com. Registration is expected to open in April or May.
It takes a community to put on a race weekend. We could not operate without our wonderful worker/volunteer corps. You are invited and encouraged to stay for the weekend races and try out a specialty. We will rebate your Track Day entry fee $25 for each day you work. We try to take care of our workers the best we can, and we can get you up-close and personal with the action, the race cars and the drivers. We will feed you lunch on Saturday and Sunday and provide a picnic dinner on Saturday evening. If you want to try out a specialty (or a few) and are not familiar with what is available, shoot an email to roadrace@cincyscca.com and we will guide you. You can also ask at the registration building (on the left at the Gate 3 entrance) or come to the base of the tower. We can hook you up.
